Günther Schenk was born and grew up in Windhoek, Namibia. He studied as an Air Traffic Controller in South Africa at ATNS (Air Traffic Navigation Services) and at the Singapore Aviation Academy in Singapore.
He later studied at Youth With A Mission in Muizenburg, South Africa and completed his Discipleship Training School (DTS).
He worked as an Air traffic Controller for a total of 8 years after which he resigned and together with his wife Beatrix (born in Keetmanshoop), they founded Lion of Judah Ministries (1999), an interdenominational ministry, that has an apostolic mandate with the vision to ‘Build-up and restore the Body of Christ’.
The ministry has an international reach and the headquarters are located in Windhoek, Namibia.
Some term it the Apostolic Reformation or the Apostolic Season, but no matter the ’naming’, the primary focus of this season is to bring the church back to the original mandate that was in the mind of God. Jesus said: “… I will build my Church (ecclesia), and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Matt 16:18
The word apostolic refers to that which is authentic (genuine) and true. Gods plan has always been for the Church to be the visible expression of Himself and to exist as His (corporate) son who would steward the earth on His behalf. The apostolic is responsible to provide a well of pure water (Word), repairing, reforming and rebuilding His ecclesia.
Günther is an apostolic leader equipping church and business leaders alike to enable them to move in a higher dimension of God’s calling upon their lives. He flows in Kingdom revelation and establishes present truths into people’s lives. Beatrix has a powerful prophetic calling and is called to minister to the Bride of Christ. Moving strongly in prophetic worship, her heart is to see the nations set free from captivity and receive healing. She also leads people into a place of intimacy through worship and then teaches them how to respond to God’s call of love.
They have a passion to see God’s kingdom established through a mature Body of Christ, that has risen up and become the ambassadors in and of Christ’s Kingdom as mandated by God to man in Gen 1:28. They are supported by a strong team of people, forming a one man company, who want to see the Kingdom of God established in Namibia and the nations of the world.
To raise breakthrough believers that will move into their God given destiny as individual.
To build up and restore churches until they become governing churches that will fulfil their call of destiny to influence and change their city / nation for God.
To raise up and establish breakthrough believers in Kingdom business to win the market place for His purposes.

It is our firm belief that no ministry can function standing on its own, no matter how ‘great the anointing’ its ministers carry. The time of the ‘man of power for the hour’ is long gone. This apostolic season requires true sons of God to rise and unite in true relationship to continue in God’s call. This is what is moddeled in the ISAAC family.
Lion of Judah Ministries are representatives and affiliates of ISAAC (International Strategic Alliance of Apostolic Churches). ISAAC is a network of governing churches and ministries across over 52 nations under the presiding apostleship of Dr Jonathan David since 2010.
Dr Jonathan David is the founder and senior pastor of All Nations Sanctuary, a governing kingdom church in Malaysia. He has been recognised by apostles and prophets around the world for his contribution to God’s present move through his popular book “Apostolic Strategies Affecting Nations.” He carries a strong apostolic grace for city and nationwide transformation. He resides in Muar, Malaysia with his wife, Pastor Helen David.
We believe:
In the triune God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

That Jesus Christ:
Is the Word of God – John 1:1-4.
Is the Son of God and was sent by God to pay for our sins by giving his life on the cross – John 3:16.
Was born of a virgin, by the seed of the Holy Spirit – Matt 1:18.
Was crucified and 3 days later was raised – John 2:19-22; Rom 6:4.
Through His blood we are cleansed and through Him we are reborn – Rom 4:23&24.
Is the way, the truth and the life and none come to the Father but through Him – John 14:6.
That the Holy Spirit was sent by God after Jesus’ ascension to be our guide and teacher – John 14:26; John 16:8,13-15.
In water baptism by immersion and this should be accomplished after commitment to the lordship of Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for our sin – Matt 28:19; Acts 10:47&48.
In the baptism of the Holy Spirit – Acts 8:1.
In the gifts of the Holy Spirit – 1 Cor 12:7-11.
In the Lord’s Supper – Matt 26:26-28.
That man was created by God – Gen 1:27.
In the covenant of Marriage which is the union of one single male with one single female – Gen 2:24&25; Matt 19:5&6; 1 Tim 3:2, 12.
That all have sinned and need to be redeemed by Christ Jesus – Rom 3:23&24.
In fulfilling the great commission – Gen 1:26-28; Matt 28:18-20.
In the Second Coming of Jesus Christ – Luke 21:27; Rev 1:7.
